Ink Fluid Art

Creating the Ink pieces of work was very different and a lot more time consuming than the Acrylic pieces of work that I create.

In order to create these pieces, I have to either soak a piece of large paper for 10 minutes before adding the ink, or, I have to cover the paper in water before adding the inks, which has to be done very quickly.

This method of creating Fluid Art, is seriously uncontrollable, just because the water is everywhere and the ink will spread into every area that the water is in, so sometimes it can be really hard to control it all.
the way that I usually control the colours, and where they spread, is usually by adding even more colours to the piece. Depending on what kinds of inks I'm using
, sometimes some colours will stop other colours from spreading any further, creating a really interesting piece of work.

With Ink work, it is all about experimentation and trying new things with a variety of different colours. Using a wide variety of different kinds of inks will also create different looks and blends of colours, creating interesting pieces of work.

Here is a collection of some of my own experimentations with Ink work.
